• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Gave up on BRP connect

Not only didn't it actually connect or work properly, but it is likely one of the worst designed pieces of software I've ever worked with. I ignore it. CarPlay would have been a far better option. Perhaps an update in the future will change some of this, but I doubt it. I think they were...

    I Pulled the Trigger!!!!

Great choice! Congrats, this will probably be one of your lifetime favorite purchases, and the 2020/2021 is certainly the way to go!

Interesting Info from BRP 2020 Report

To each his own. I feel like I went from something fun in 2014 RT-S to something that finally felt "cool" in 2020 RT-L. It feels much more like a three wheeled motorcycle (which is very much what it is) and much less like a curiosity. And, if you don't love the look of the trunk, you can just...

Is there a fix yet for the fit and finish issue with the 2020RT-L

My dealer is useless, and I'm finding out they did a pretty shoddy job putting the bike together (Lou is catching issues as he is adding my new accessories).

Is there a fix yet for the fit and finish issue with the 2020RT-L

I know this has been discussed, but I can't track down the right way to handle this with dealer (who isn't particularly great). For the fit and finish issue where there are gaps on each side above the saddle bags, is there a BRP fix yet, and what are the details? Thanks!

2020 RTL Recall for Rear Panel Fix

The dealer I purchased from isn't particularly good, and aside from this one issue I doubt they will be doing any of my warranty service. Does anybody have the info on this fix/recall so that I can show them what needs to be done?

Thinking of purchasing a Spyder Touring

Not 100% up to date for the latest models, but absolutely the most important thing to read and the best place to start: https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?41346-quot-Do-s-and-Do-Nots-quot-for-new-Spyder-owners This thread is always easy to find as it is stuck here at the top...

    Will a 2014 RT windshield fit a 2020 RT?

I put my Can-Am short windshield from my 2014RT on my 2020 RT without any problem at all. Even the footprint of the cover is the same (which is good, because it left some scratching on the windshield). You'll be perfectly fine. One of the things that I didn't notice about the stock windshield...

2020 RT 12 Volt Power Outlet -- WHERE IS IT?

Got it, it's just for accessories and internal. So much to love in the 2020, but the tech was better before they "improved" everything.

2020 RT 12 Volt Power Outlet -- WHERE IS IT?

(I've searched the manual) and can not find where the "12 volt power outlet" is. In my 2014 RT, putting the fuse in the right spot kept the cigarette lighter power adapter on, but moving that has no effect on the USB ports on the 2020, and I can't find another outlet that might the "12 volt...

Fable of the 2020 RT Handlebar

First off, thank you for comfirming that the reduced reach bars will also likely be too close for me. From what I can tell, that part number is for the stock F3 bars. I found this link for the F3 after I made my post that seemed helpful and makes me think that the 709402241 would be best...

Fable of the 2020 RT Handlebar

Looking for a bit of clarification. The stock 2020 RT bars are too far away for me at 5'6". The short reach bars seem to too close based on what I've read. My 2014 RT is very comfortable, and either that distance or a bit closer would work well for me. I'm not clear on the difference...

    2020 RT Phone Mount

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2020 RT-L and am looking for a good replacement for the Providence Spyder Accessories Phone mount on my current 2014 RT. I'd like something that mounts the phone right in the CENTER of the handlebars, as I use as my GPS, is easy to plug in (or, even better...
