• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2020 RT Phone Mount

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2020 RT-L and am looking for a good replacement for the Providence Spyder Accessories Phone mount on my current 2014 RT.

I'd like something that mounts the phone right in the CENTER of the handlebars, as I use as my GPS, is easy to plug in (or, even better, has wireless charging), and is as unobtrusive as possible.

I'm also possibly planning on adding Helibars, so that may play into it.

What have others found that they most like or think would fit for my needs? Photos or links would be greatly appreciated.

One more thing to add...
I'd like to end up with an X-Grip to actually hold the phone.

I've been using the X-Grip for years and think it's great. The set up for the Spyder is the XGrip, XGrip tether (rubber thing that slips over each of the four corners of the phone as an added protection), Tough Claw Grip Mount (attached to handlebar) and double socket arm between X-Grip and claw. Right now, I use a USB cord coming out of the glove box when I want to charge the phone (not clean), but over the winter, I'll access that blanked off port to the right of the ignition and install a USB power connector. Visibility for navigation is excellent.

I've been using one of LaMonsters Phone Phang cell holders in between my bars all summer. (I keep the phone in a landscape orientation as I use my phone for GPS and it's easier to see a map that way.) I've not had any issues. The phone doesn't slip and it's a nice almost stealth install.
