Nothing new, Drivers cut off Motorcycles, Spyders and yes cars. You just notice it more because when your out in the open it becomes more personal and in your face!
Can anyone honestly say they never inadvertently cut off another vehicle?:dontknow:
I know i have been guilty of that a few times!!
:agree: me also guilty of this. but as a motorcycle rider i do not cut off other bikers as i know of the dangers i give them the space they deserve.
but am trying to do better.
Idiots like that make me want a TRAIN HORN!!!!!! I WILL get an airhorn and soon as I want to go to the Durango meet and am sure I will need some form of ATTENTION GETTER!!! Damn fools on their phones, reading the map or a book, working on the computer, puttin on the make up and drinking coffee are just a FEW of the distracions that are seen by other drivers out on the road. Talk to some of the Big rig drivers,. They have a boat load of "sightings" of ppl doing strange and unusual things in cars etc. The truck drivers should get together and write a book on " things you SHOULD'NT be doing while driveing a vehicle" !!! I'd buy it!:agree: I was not sure I was going to make it to Spyderfest. 5 miles from home on I-39 I was riding behind and to the left of 18 wheelers when I heard tires on the rummble stip to my left. Some guy and his wife where trying to pass me on the shoulder :gaah:. I coudn't speed up or go right and If I slowed down he would not be able to drop back behind me. Layed on the horn and held on. I was not 3 feet from the wife and she never even looked over. The driver heard the rummble strips and slowly slipped back behind me. Once I was able I put a few miles between us.
