• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Received the 2" floorboard risers and 2" brake pedal risers yesterday. I added the 1 1/2" risers but for my bike, I have the Corbin seat and it's higher than the stock. So, for me, it should help to give me a little more bend in my legs. For the wife, I think it'll help her as well because even with the 1 1/2" risers, I think they're still not enough for her to be 100% comfortable; even though she never complained about it. I'll be making the changes tonight and tomorrow.

Rode the wife's F3L to the gym again. Parked it outside so that I can give it a cleaning. There is a bike night tonight about 5 miles from me. Supposed to be about 95 degrees with a heat index of 105, but I still might go check it out around 7 unless the thunderstorms that they are predicting materialize.

Maintenance and enhancements alike on my second favorite toy (my classic '72 Bonne is my first luv!).
  • Oil & Filter change
  • New rear tire, I went with the General AltiMAX RT45, nice construction General!
  • I tweaked the belt alignment just a tad with the tire replacement
  • cat bypass pipe installed (yes, a bit more growl in her sound and sooo much less heat, luv it!)
  • BumpSkid (finally) installed
  • New battery
  • A full detailing... I like the way the (blue) metallic sparkles in the sun!
  • Full inspection: check all fasteners, suspension components, etc.
  • new LEDs in the head & fog lights! (much better at night!)
  • getting ready to add some underglow, but none of this carnival-flashing-multicolored display lighting for me, just a few tasteful blue accents!
  • Oh yes, and my daily ride of course... but that's pretty hard when its 98°F with a 80°F plus dew point!
Just over 15K mi on my '18 and she purrs like a kitten but accelerates like a cheetah! Not a single problem! (notwithstanding the pulley (done) and shaft (pending) recalls!) Ride safe!

Be aware, red or blue lights on a vehicle are illegal in most States.
My F3S had a kit installed when I got it. Not something I would have added, but it does look pretty cool at night.
Mine allows about 10 color choices, as well as chase and fade options. I usually run steady green or orange when night riding, or some of the other options when parked at a cruise in.

Got the 2" floorboard and brake pedal risers on both bikes. Because I sit higher in the Corbin seat, the 2" riser, as opposed to the 1 1/2" riser, really does make a difference. I also adjusted my HeliBars today. They're now more comfortable. The wife and I will probably take a ride today. It's beautiful out.

I sat at the kitchen table with my coloring book and a box of color pencils and watched the water pour off the eaves in solid sheets.

Lot of coffee disappeared somewhere... not sure where it went. The cup kept getting empty.

Fortunate to live in the perfect riding area of Southern Utah. Drove up Hwy 14, then turned toward Cedar Breaks. Then up to Paguitch Lake for lunch at the Burger Barn. Did the Lake Loop, then headed down Mammoth Hot Springs Road back toward Duck Creek, Lots of deer and antelope moving around. Made the right toward Duck Creek and then back to Cedar City. 70°F on the mountain made it hard to go home.

Bought the wife's '22 RT back in June. Had to buy a brand-new battery over the weekend. Even on the battery tender, it was not cranking over all that well. Then she got a VSS message and well, I knew right then it was the battery. What ticks me off is, the dealer never checked the basic things while prepping for pick-up. The rear shock air bag wasn't filled either and the bike was filthy under the wheel wells and other places. Not happy with them at all.

We just got home from a 1600 mile trip up to Rocky Mountain Natl Park, then down to Taos to visit the Vietnam Memorial. Dropped down to Socorro, NM and came home across the rim. Might be one of the worst trips we have taken. Everything from freezing rain and hail, temps over 100, and road construction everywhere.
