Have you looked at the battery yet? Unless they changed from 2011, I think you will find its not as easy to get to as your old RT.

Lamont,
One of the things that you said in the video, " Wait for it to boot up.".
I'm thinking that some day, I'll be "waiting for the push mower to boot up".
Congrats on the new project!

You said you dropped off your black RT, does that mean you do not own 001 anymore ???

Not sure what you mean "match the white", I'll be starting all over with everything on this one. I'll be picking up my trailer when I head to Pete's for the graphics next week.

001 has been turned back in to BRP. I had a battery problem in Daytona that melted down part of my harness and at that point they talked me into taking the 2012 to replace it. It was a pre-production so it had a lot of things that were not easily upgraded so this was the smart move for me.

R.I.P. 001 If BRP has a museum, I know where 001 is heading.

Did they already have all of the Tupperware off of it and ready for some serious "tinkering"?

Question: Since you're are in the VERY enviable position of being able to have tinkered with 2 RTs; Are you planning a different direction for these modifications from what you did on #1, or will RTW be a mirror image of its predecessor?

Those are some really good looking videos. Were they done using your Drift camera? using High Def ? any other settings ?
Remote or built-in Mic?

There will be some changes for sure. I know that I will not be putting on Kury grips on this one as I find I rather have hot grips than warm grips. I liked the looks of the Kury grips but I like more heat in the cold for sure.
I'm adding some lights I didn't have on the other one and I'm moving my GPS again to the middle on top of the dash and I went with the 665 this time.
I'm still on the fence about gauges, I really like a good volt gauge and I like the digital readout for fuel and temp. Not sure what I'm going to do there yet.
The graphics will get changed up a bit too and I'm thinking about powder coating my rims peril white.

Naw this is my Panasonic DMC-FH20
I'll tell you it's a lot harder to get a good pic with a white bike compared to a black one.

Lamont,
I looked at the shorty antennas and only saw one that they offered. Is it the same for both the AM/FM/WX and the CB? I thought those had to be different do to the different frequencies and wavelengths that they operate on. Is the performance of these antennas as good/better than the stock ones? I like the looks of them and that they give the bike a more symmetric look. But if they outdo the stock antennas on performance, it would be a no-brainier to upgrade.

They are the same and I did a test with them in Daytona and the stock worked a little better but I went with looks on this one. I would call Custom Dynamics if you have questions on them, they sell a ton of these to the Harley guys.
