Default Lamonster RTW Project- X-Grip by RAM

In this video I was calling it an X-mount but the real name is X-Grip. My buddy Reggy told me about them and it was perfect for what I wanted to do with it. I still like having my iphone setup on the RT for different reasons and the problem with most of the mounts for a phone is they are made to be used without a case. That was a pain to take the case off just to be able to mount it in a holder. I'm using a LifeProof case now and there's no way I want to pull the phone out of this case. You can read about that here Lamont, you big dummy

So anyway the X-Grip by RAM is going to work great and it can be used to hold just about anything including your camera.

Great Mount Lamont, I had watched your video on how to mount iphone before on your old RT and used that method. But I had the OtterBox on my iphone so when designing mine Xgrip was what I had to use. This works great and can be used for other devises as well.

Hey Lamont, I'm thinking about ordering the X-Grip for my RT - are you still happy with yours?

I have the 3" Ram mount RAM-B-149ZU1.jpg but am not sure which piece I need to mount it to the RT. Can you tell me what Ram part number your ordered?

    Thanks!
    Anita

    Very nice Lamont

I use the Ram mount ball mounts with the hole thru it so you can mount it on any existing bolt location (alto for some locations you will need to find a longer bolt to replace the original)

but I have the drink holder on one side and the X-Grip mounted on the other side for my iPhone (the speaker grill is off because at the time I took this picture, I was also in the process of relocating the iPod connector from the rear trunk forward, as well as installing a lighter plug type mount)
