There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. The incessant rain is beginning to slow here in the Hills, but it's not leaving easily!! I went outside at 4:00 (am) to a crystal-clear sky with a million stars scattered across it, shining like tiny shards of diamond, and not a cloud in sight from horizon to horizon... but the 'damaging winds' that followed the 'Gale Warning' we got, which had just blown my garage door in (blew it right outta its tracks! :cus: ) were also blowing in some fairly solid rain from somewhere far away! And each drop felt bloody cold and just as sharp as those diamonds in the sky! :yikes:

The forecasters are still telling us we should still expect rain for the next week or so, along with more of those damaging winds; but at least the temps are gradually climbing outta the single digits and heading for the high teens/low 20's (°C). All the fruit trees are budding, some are even flowering; and the vege seedlings that normally don't start doing their thing for another four weeks or so are already growing madly - I just hope we don't get any more hard frosts &/or icy blasts straight off the Antarctic Ice Caps!

:chat:...Going to be another Hot day here in Indiana. Just going to enjoy a 'John Wayne' video after some early morning chores. AC has become the needed thing for me and the wife.
Currently 69°F with lots of humidity.

The numbers for today are 89°F and sunny.
Low 69°F. A small chance of rain showers.

Have a Blessed Day and Stay Safe. ....

:coffee:...Well the 'dog days' of August are about to expire. I for one am glad to see it go. Just entirely to much heat and humidity. I guess we should be happy for all the beautiful flowers and trees.

Currently I have a cool 71°F and a beautiful view of millions of stars in the sky.

Today numbers are 91°F for the high. No rain in the forecast for us.
Low at 71°F. Another sunshine day.

Till Next Time. .....

Here in the desert, we have set a record (shattered it) for the number of consecutive days with temperatures above 100 degrees. Currently we are at number 96 (or 97, I think). Yesterday we came close to breaking the string when it only got to 102. The next 10 day forecast has us well above 100... so it continues. Today it will be 108 with an overnight low of 86. The breeze is at 4 MPH and there are a few high thin clouds. No rain in the forecast. Monsoons have been very sparce this season. I am happy to have been able to do a month-long road trip and get a break from the desert heat this summer. Stay safe... Jim

Finally Friday and looking good. Currently I have a clear sky and 71°F. The weather people are saying maybe get some afternoon showers. We could use some more rain.

High today of 94°F. Mostly sunny all day.
Low at 70°F an Great Day to Ryde.

Enjoy the good things of life and be Safe. ....

Currently 76°F with 91% humidity. Leaving in about 30 minutes to take the Spyder in for its 3000-mile service. It will be in the low 90's on my ride home. Looking ahead, mid 90's for today through Mon; rain starting Mon; then mid 80's for the rest of the week, with more rain likely.

Well, we made it through another Month. This was my favorite. I do a lot of RV Camping with friends.
This really makes us appreciate nature and outdoor activities. We have enjoyed visiting new places and meetings new people. Maybe we will see you some where.

Everything is good for now. ....

Just can't believe how fast August flew by. Local grocery had extra meaty pork ribs on sale for the holiday weekend. I took advantage and stocked up yesterday.

Currently it's 100 degrees. Partly sunny with the humidity at 20%. There is a 7-10 MPH breeze. Today's high is forecast to be 105 and the overnight low will be 81. There is a very slight chance of monsoon moisture later this afternoon.

During the hot summer months, we get pretty warm water out of our cold-water tap. The hot environment just heats EVERYTHING up. No need to even crack the hot water tap for a comfortable shower. Well yesterday I had to do just that. Needed just a little from the hot tap to be comfortable. A good sign that we are moving towards cooler times. See y'all next month. Stay safe..... Jim

The final day of August is upon us. 80's today next three, then high 70's. Is the weather taking a fall turn? Chances for intermittent showers the next week. We had a real gully washer for about an hour last night.
