• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

You heard it here first- BRP Owners Event 2012

The best part of an "Owners Event" is all the Spyderlovers you get to meet.....and ride with.....BRP is very accomodating....plenty of cold drinks...excellent food on Saturday...prizes....a short program...music....a Spyder Contest....really alot of fun....I was very impressed with BRP at Maggie Valley...and it's all free.............for owning a Spyder
Speaking of that, I still have my gas card they gave out. nojoke

Lamont if there is any way to push BRP to annouce the dates it would be helpful to those that are trying to plan vacation days and have to request them early in January for the year. I know we have a few people that would like to try to include Durango in with another trip out that way, but without the dates when they have to request vacation days, they may not be able to go. :dontknow:

My wife had to pick her vacation dates last week for the upcoming year. Sometimes she can trade with a co worker :dontknow:. I would think since these dates ( June 22,23,24 2012) are for Ontario Canada, that the Durango Colorado will be just before or after .... Last year they announced Maggie Valley on Jan. 6th 2011

Mountain passes

Just thinking ahead as I am from Ontario and am registered for our Ontario Rally June 22nd-24th and would think it should be after that because those mountain pass open late some years depending on the winter. By the way, Colorado is my favorite state. Independence Pass my favorite road. I did it on a GoldWing in 1990 and many times since in a Miata but a supercharged one. Mountain roads require power, poor Spyder. Thin air doesn't help!

There will be a bike show, lots of food, great riding and great fellowship. It's also a great place to checkout mods that other members have done before you buy. There won't be any aftermarket vendors there, if you want that then Spyderfest in Cuba MO is the event to go to. Either one will be a good time for sure. :doorag:

There is also Spyders in the Redwoods in Eureka, CA to be held August 6-9, 2012. We had a great time last year and next year should be even better. I am also looking forward to attending my first SpyderFest in 2012.
