Where's my DESS module - 2014 Spyder RT-LTD

I have a solid DESS error and before spending the cash on BUDS and the Megatech license, I'd like to at least clean the connections associated with the key sensor antenna and the DESS module but I don't know where those connections are. For example, where is the DESS module on my 2014 Spyder RT-LTD?

It is a very long thread with a lot of excellent info. Read the last post in the thread, post #1100 that was posted by Peter Aawen (he posted on 1/31/2024 @ 1:21AM)

I started the DESS KEY CODE Thread.

The DESS module is located to the left of the battery (facing and standing in front of the bike).

Several months ago I cleaned the DESS module connector and applied some Stabilant 22a. Appears to have solved the problem. Haven't had any DESS problems since then.

It may have helped, it may have not. I had it come and go several times. Module was replaced, then I replaced the antenna per the bulletin on my 2014 RT.

You can find Stabilant 22a on Amazon. Works wonders for me on a variety of electrical problems. Seems pricey, but it goes a long way.
