We live full time in our RV traveling the country. Been doing it for about 2 1/2 years now and wouldn't trade it for anything!! Just left the Black Hills area and in North Dakota now. It's been great traveling and riding all the cool spots in America!

We were full time from 1997 to 2006, and we enjoyed every minute of it - even the two breakdowns we had weren't too bad.

East Texas. Lots of rural roads, some twisty, polite drivers, and away from the cities. Too damn hot yet I stay any way because I can ride year round. We only have a few weeks of winter.

We live in a rural area, not much traffic, some beautiful roads, lots of rivers to ride along, some twisties, and the fall foliage is beautiful. Not usually able to ride much from Nov to March due to snow, cold. I believe every State has something to offer as far as beauty, and I've ridden in them all.

Started out in the San Francisco Bay Area (the OTHER end of the Golden Gate Bridge). After 27 years in the US Navy ended up in a sleepy bedroom community North of Huntsville AL. Great place to live and have watched it grow for thirty years. Now Huntsville is the largest city in AL. Bad: too hot in the summer to ride. Good just 5 miles to TN border and great riding roads.

As the title states. I'm interested in how widespread the Spyder community is. Country, State, Town. Don't give me your address, unless you are serving dinner. Maybe a little line about why your area is so great.

What is so great in Tampa, FL- The beaches, weather, nature, sports, 365 days of riding.

Not so great- Traffic, bad drivers, and traffic. Did I mention the traffic.

Reno, NV. Moved here back in 2006 after being on the road as a medical contract worker (I.e. CT/x-ray traveler) for 7 years trying to find a place I would call "home".

Positives - best skiing in the country, best roads to ride my Harley and Spyder, seafood buffets aplenty, no state taxes, close proximity to both ocean and mountains

Negatives - traffic, meteoric development due to many companies taking advantage of tax breaks and building their factories (thanks Elon!!) which drives the cost of living ever higher

(By the way, you wouldn't WANT to have we're having for dinner, LOL)

To the extent that I grew up at all, I grew up in New York, just outside of the city. Moved to Michigan for college. East Lansing => Detroit => Ann Arbor. I started riding in Detroit, and started ryding a Spyder in A2 (Ann Arbor). The roads right around me aren't great, but go a few miles anywhere in Michigan and there is BEAUTY!!!

Bought my first Spyder (2024 Sea-to-Sky) last fall, was born and raised in Montréal, QC, Canada , lived in Ottawa area, our country’s Capital Region for a while, and now retired in Quebec’s Eastern Townships. Great area for year-round outdoor activities (hiking, road biking, motorcycling, skiing, etc.) and there is absolutely no traffic. I live ~25 miles away from the Vermont border and ~15 miles from the BRP factory in Valcourt, QC where our Spyders are assembled and so are the snowmobiles. Every Spyder and Ski-Doo owner should do the factory tour and visit the Bombardier museum! To top it off, my dealer is literally across the street from the BRP plant and HQ.

Born, raised, and lifelong resident of the Rio Grande Valley at the very southern tip of Texas. Odd … that word “ Valley” would lead you to believe there would be mountains (or at least hills) nearby, of which there are exactly zero. Closest thing to a hill for 100 miles is a highway overpass! Did I mention that it’s flat down here?!?

Pros: *We have on average about 4 days of winter per year, and the winter months are the best riding times. *Cost of living is pretty low. *Excellent Mexican food.

Cons: *Politics. *Closest decent twisties to ride are 300+ miles (4+ hours) from here, in central Texas. Shortest route from my house to ANY other state is 455 miles (Louisiana). *Brutally hot summers. Good for harvesting our milo, corn, cotton, and sesame. *Hurricanes - not so good for harvesting milo, corn, cotton, and sesame.

From Seattle, WA and retired to Eastern Mesa, AZ 21 years ago. I can be out of the metropolitan area in 10 minutes and ride forever on uncrowded mountain and high desert roads. Riding season is about 8 months long with the summer being too hot. Summer road trips from AZ back to the N.W. are an annual ritual.....
