There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. When idling while warm, motor dies suddenly! Code P0106 while running. Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong?

Hey, I just bought Spyder RT S2S 2022 used from I would say was a salvage company.
I know that my machine had some sort of accident, as I am missing front right fender completely.

When talking to company, they did not mention anything about engine problems. They told me engine is OK without problems and faults.

But I noticed after the first few rides that when the motor is warm after stopping and idling, it starts to lose rpm, or rather, it loses rpm and then it goes back to normal, and this happens a few times, then it dies completely after 3 or 4 fluctuations.

Anybody has any idea what could be wrong?
I contacted my local dealer, who said that they would take a look at it, but nonetheless I wanted to figure out what is going on.
I would really appreciate it if anybody can help me figure out what is wrong.

Oh and I just found that when running I have error code P0106. And may be a weak battery. Could it be that the battery is the problem?

Like Mikey suggested, if you have unexplained running issues & Codes, and any suspicions about your battery's health, sorting the battery first is a great place to start!! And fresh, quality, gas is always good too! Can't hurt, might help??

That said, that Code you added suggests:

P0106 - Manifold absolute pressure circuit range/performance
Possible causes
Damaged sensor, damaged circuit wires, damaged connector or damaged ECM pins, ECM voltage supply.

There's quite a few other threads discussing that Code, which is why it's always worth while just typing any Code you have come up into the Search field (top right) first; ticking the Search titles only box; submitting the Search; and then spending some time reading. ;)
If your issue was happening on an older model Spyder with the V-twin motor, I'd suggest changing the 3 little vacuum hoses that are well known for perishing over time, but since the 1330's don't tend to have that issue, you might want to look for threads discussing what others have done when this Code comes up on their 1330's.

Good Luck! (y)

Good place to start, fresh gas, a good dose of fuel system cleaner and run it, see what it acts like after, and tell us what happen!
Hey thanks for advice fuel system cleaner helped. RPM are stable now and it's not cutting off anymore. At service, I will see what is with the error message and if it can be deleted, or if there is really a problem with any sensor.

It would not hurt to put a couple rounds of it through your system! Good luck. Did you do a load test on your battery?
