• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

getting old sucks

Since this thread started: I've moved into the next Statistical Category...
Getting older may stink; it's better than NOT getting any older!

As I've told my father-in-law on many occasions, getting old sucks, but the alternative really sucks.

48 years old. Went from 2 wheels to 3 wheels last year because of hip injury. Hip is better now but love the :spyder2: and probably won't go back.

77

58 years old, been riding 2 wheelers for 46 of those, Wife of 27 years (who rides a Yamaha C3 to work and shopping every week, weather permitting) didn't enjoy riding with me UNTIL our '13 Spyder RTL purchased this Oct. She's even driven it herself today (29 Oct '16).

Worth every penny!

Age 62

Both me & wife age 62 ride a 2013 RTL purchased new in June 2016 w/only 975 miles. Prior to the Spyder purchase, drove 2 wheelers but will never go back. Feel so much safer and that's a good thing. 😎 One of the best purchases I have ever made. Absolutely Love the Spyder. There is not a day that goes by that I don't get at least one complement on how awesome the bike looks. I did put on a new Ultimate black mid-rider seat w/Pearl white ostrich inlays & embroidered spyder logos that transforms the whole look into the Wow factor.

Farkels added:

Ultimate full Pearl white ostrich inlay mid-rider seat w/driver backrest & passenger backrest,BRP chrome billet windshield bracket,BRP chrome vented windshield,BRP chrome upper wind deflector,BRP functional airscoops,BRP rear cargo liner,BRP heat management upgrade kit,BRP front trunk LED compartment light,Baja Ron sway bar,Baja Ron Heim links,Muth Amber LED mirror turn signals,Chrome billet grip end caps,Custom Dynamics side saddlebags LED run lights,Custom Dynamics HMT LED trunk brake/run lights,Custom Dynamics rear mud flap LED run light,BRP chrome handlebar cover,ShowChrome bumper wear bar chrome accent,TricLed LED Halo light kit w/remote,TricLed front A arm LED light kit,Rear trunk compartment 5 LED light bar,Calif Custom Cruisers upper RT side chrome coffin style spyder radiator vent grill,Calif Custom Cruisers lower RT side chrome coffin style spyder radiator vent grill,Hopnel 3pc cargo net set,Ultra Guard full RT bike cover,Smooth Spyder RT belt tensioner & Spy 5000M alarm w/DEI Viper voice alarm module.

Purchased my 2014 RT 2 years ago, after having an accident on my 2 wheeler. The wife was upset and didn't want me on 2 wheels again. This past July, I convinced her to let me pick up another 2 wheeler to go with the spyder. After only 4 short months, I realize that I still am in love with the spyder, but want something a little sportier. So today a guy is picking up the 2 wheeler, and tomorrow I go to pick up my 2012 RSS to satisfy the hooligan that is left in me:yes:. The RT will still get lots of love, but mostly when riding 2 up with the wife.
BTW, just turned 50 this past August.
