• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Added the Tufskinz Domed real Carbon Fiber right & left access cover overlays.
Just couldn't keep the plastic free of scratches from my tough as leather hands.

HI Dasmoetorhead,

I have the Tufskinz Peel N Stick Front Service Fairing Service Access Door Covers in Raw Carbon Fiber on my 2023 F3 LTD SS (when I get a chance, I'll post pictures of the above. Life gets in the way!)

Nice job, Looks great!

Rode the F3L to the gym yesterday. Going to take it out for a fill up today when I run my errands. Got a nice little 180-200 mile ride tomorrow. Gonna ride around the lake and eventually end up at a nice BBQ place for lunch.

Used the Spyder to haul the trash to the county collection site. When I got back I found a piece of cattle panel and cut a top for the trash hauling trailer out of it. Fastened one side to the top sideboard rail with eye bolts and shackles. Put short piece of chain (2 links) and a snap hook on the other side to hook into the eye bolts on that side. Now I've got a hinged top on the trash trailer that opens and closes with just 2 snap hooks, instead of having to tie the trash bags down with cords. Still easy to haul feed bags in there too.

Thought about tearing into the Spyder to fix a burned out headlight. But it is just too warm to do right now. Since I don't ride at night, it has not been a priority. I will be replacing them with LED lights.

When I bought the bike about 2 weeks ago, I had the dealer install the BRP rider's back rest.
I just can't seem to get it into a good position for me.
So I am trying to see if something like an chair lumbar support would work. I have been on 3 short rides to test it, and it feels much more comfortable than the standard BRP backrest. Time will tell.

There is a little bit of adjustment for the driver's backrest, although it might not be enough for you.
There's a screw at the base of the backrest. Turn it clockwise to increase the incline towards the back of the Spyder, or counterclockwise to incline the backrest towards the front of the Spyder.

The section is the Operator's Guide on the bottom of Page 35 and top of Page 36 titled Adjusting the Driver's Backrest.

Thanks.
That screw is completely frozen on my backrest. I called the dealer and I am taking it back in next week.
In the meantime, I tried just putting some shims in there. However, that only moves the top of the backrest closer and farther away. The entire backrest does not move with the shims.
Hopefully, when the screw is fixed, I can try that properly.

The screw inclines the backrest, which is another way of saying that it moves the top towards the front or towards the rear.

It does not move the entire backrest.

So some type of additional padding may be your only hope. :(

I added these blind spot mirrors. Went for a ~90-minute ride this morning and they make a nice difference in blind spot visibility.
Took a minute to adjust them just right.
