• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Got my $143/shipped Gustaffson 25" dark smoke gray windscreen installed. Some slight blemishes, but overall very nice. It will be my everyday windshield, with my taller/wider/clear Isotta shield being my touring one. An added bonus is that my TricLED pop in windscreen vent deflectors fit. The dark gray looks pretty sharp, me thinks. :)

Finally got to waxing the bikes with Avalon King ceramic coating. It's supposed to last up to 2 years with 1 application. They're shiny and ready for riding tomorrow.

Did a quick cleaning to get the dust off the plastic parts. With the Dew Point over 70° for the last several days, it just was not much fun riding, even dressed very lightly (I find the coolest possible way to dress is a long sleeved nylon t-shirt that keeps the sun off my skin but allows almost unfettered airflow).

My F3S got pushed out of way, so I could put together our new Blackstone propane Griddle, and season it. Had my Daughter and our Grandkids over, and my Brother, for Smash Burgers, and Gigi's (Grandma's) potato salad, and a fruit plate.

There may have also been an adult beverage or two consumed.

Plans were drawn up for a future ride. Our old riding buddy and his wife bought a store & bar up off Hwy 36 near Ruth Lake, CA. It's about a 180 mi ride. Lots of adventure rider types go up there, on the way to the Forest Service roads.

Nice looking Spyder.

I have just over 250 miles on my 24 RTL and working on some "lite" mods/enhancements based on my needs:

Larger brake pedal a I felt the factory one was a bit small

Daytime Running Light for additional visibility
DRLs.jpg

Frunk pouch for some smaller/lighter items:

Grille covers as I have read about accumulation on the factory grille:

Foam grips and throttle assist as I like the softer/larger grip and the throttle assist is easier to "twist" with wrist pressure

Screen protector for a layer of protection for the display. It might be difficult to see, but if you look at the edges you can see where I have added:

I added a bit of grease to the locks and they seem to unlock/lock/open/close better.
I also added the two little 'dots' you see on the picture as it seems to help the frunk open with only the key (rather than turning the key while reaching to open the frunk).

would love a report and some pictures

Here's the finished project. Super easy to do. I tapped into the keyed prewired power supply. Took a minute to pair up with my iphone.
Phone was already paired to my Sena helmet.
Rode around the block talking to my wife on the phone. She had no idea I was riding. Siri takes care of the voice commands. It works just like carplay in my truck.
