What did you do to your Spyder today?

It looks like I won't be able to use the adapter after all. The trailer has separate, dedicated lights for the turn signals, so unless I'm misreading the way the 4 pin plug is wired, I'm going to need to use a fuse block. Am I missing something?

That trailer will need at least 5 circuits.
Ground

Tail
Left turn
Right turn

Check your wiring diagram. My F3S has combined brake/tail lights, but there is a brake light module under the seat that combines the separate turn and brake signals coming from the main harness. It would be simple to tap into the signals ahead of that module for the trailer.

If you look at the Japanese version of the bike, it doesn't have that module, as those bikes have the separate turn lights.

The Show Chrome fuse block will easily meet your needs. It will plug in to the main connector under the seat to get the turn, running and brake light signals. Then power it from the battery and run your trailer harness from the fuse block. In retrospect I should have just gone that way myself and saved some money and hassle of building a harness. But I do enjoy designing and building stuff.

I just had a chance to ride with them, and I have to say, these are the biggest bang for the buck yet.
I've had trouble with numbness in my hands when using the computer mouse, and other things that require extended grip times.
It was particularly bad when riding the Spyder. The cruise is a Godsend on the highway, but I'd still have to ride one-handed and flex my fingers regularly to get relief.
These grips have made a MAJOR improvement. They're very comfortable and grippy, they reduce any vibration coming through the bars, but I think the biggest improvement is the increased grip diameter.
I rode 2 hours yesterday with only minimal hand discomfort, and a couple 30 minute trips today with no issues at all.
Highly recommended, and SlingMods customer service and shipping was great for all the parts I ordered.
I had an issue with the TricLED sequential turn signals, and they got me a replacement part quickly and without any hassles.

A little off topic I know, but this ^ can be pretty serious! Have you ever had any medical investigation into this bit of your post above?? Anyone checked you for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome or Ulna Nerve Entrapment, or done a Nerve Conductivity Test on the nerves from above your elbows down into your hands?? There's a bunch of other things besides those two mentioned that it could be of course, but they were the first things that most are likely to recognise that came to mind, and that Nerve Conductivity Test mentioned should be able to identify what & where the problem actually is - IF you get it done!?!

I ask, because I know that while early treatment can help or even resolve some of the potential problems entirely, letting this sort of thing go untreated for too long can be really bad for your long term ability to use your hands; and if you let it progress long enough that the damage goes too far, you might even lose the use of at least the three fingers further away your thumb on an effected hand entirely! And THAT is guaranteed not to be any fun, and will mess a whole lot more with your riding enjoyment than the 'early sign of problems that WILL ONLY get worse' type numbness that you tell us you're experiencing already!!

I have discussed this with my doctor, as well as an orthopedist.
I also have numbness at times, if I keep an elbow bent for more than a few minutes.
It causes my little and ring fingers to go completely numb, more often when I fall asleep with an elbow bent.
I've learned to sleep with my arms stretched out.

The doc said it's a common problem with a nerve that passes through a sheath in the elbow. He didn't recommend surgery at the time.

I will take your advice to go over it again with my docs, stressing the severity, and see what treatment they recommend.
I definitely don't want to lose the use of any fingers. I enjoy working with my hands.

Good idea. I've sent you a DM with a link that highlights some of the potential issues as well as a few of 'before surgery' treatments that might help.

I used a module on my 19 F3-S that I got from a Spyder aftermarket place in Canada. It plugged into an existing harness that was from the factory OEM wiring under the seat, but was not used. It had deadhead plastic plug on it. The existing harness plug had all the light wires and a hot wire to supply power to the module and make all the trailer lights work on a flat four trailer plug. I built the trailer and wired it with the standard trailer wiring for Tail, Brake, Left and Right Turns, and put LED side markers on it too. The trailer was wired with only the Flat Four, and the plug and play module that went under the seat converted all the Spyder lights to work with a flat four. Got the module in about 2 weeks, plugged it in under the seat, and plugged the flat four to the trailer. Every light on the trailer worked just like they were supposed to, and there was no problems with the LED lights I used on the trailer.

Don't remember the name of the place I odered the plug and play module from, but I found it on the web. Everything worked just like it was supposed to. Only problem I had was the LED lights I used on the trailer had non-standard trailer harness wire colors. They all used red for hot and black for neutral. A few minutes with a 12 volt probe worked that out.

I found some old emails with the name of the website I bought the module from. It is a BRP website. They even had a video showing how to hook it all up.

Going to be around 70 today tomorrow, Thursday, and Saturday. Gonna take the wife's spyder out today, just to keep the battery charged and check my post office box. I have a jobsite meeting Thursday, so I will be riding my RT. Not sure what I will do Saturday, but i will be riding somewhere. Posting a couple of days late, but on Wednesday I installed a Spyder Extras trunk rack (standard size) and their seat bracket (even though my shock is currently working just fine). Then I took the first ride of the year on Thursday, about 530 miles. It was wonderful to get out for a ride and the route was great. Sorry, I didn't get any pics, I was having too much fun riding.

Today my wife was meeting up with past work mates. My job was to take Sheena and a friend to the station (3 Miles).

Driving home, I thought "shall I have a bite to eat or??" Correct, it was trike time at 1.30 today and about 10°C. Offski; Dumfries to Glencaple, Browell (Burns had a drink at Browell and then soon died, so it's not recommended locally!!) Home around 3.30pm. This was a small run, only about 60 miles, and it was a wee bit chilly, but as you say, "Wind therapy".
