• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

This afternoon (around 4:30 PM EST) I took a short ride. I went out to supper.

Went to my Ham radio club meeting at 7pm, and got to ride home the 20 miles at night. That was the 1st time I rode the spyder at nignt.

I haven't been to a HAM club meeting in months. Really need to get back to some meetings... I have kept up my dues though. First time I have ridden at night was Thursday morning, leaving Florida and heading back to Georgia. About an hour and a half until it started getting light. I'd rather not ride in the dark.

Me neither. Too many deer, and I don't see well in the dark anymore.

Hmmm. Thought I posted this yesterday, but I don't see it. Anyway, left at 0510 for home from Panacea, Florida after a 3 day trip. First 1.5 hours in the dark, not fun but the lights on the Spyder are pretty impressive. Stopped for breakfast in Bainbridge, Ga and continued on home. Put around 750 miles on the bike those 3 days and averaged 39 mpg. Cruise control and driver back rest were great.

Here is a shot taken in St. Marks NWR.

That's great MPG! Was that with the ECO mode engaged?

Installed a new set of amber auxiliary lights to inner front fenders of my 2022 RT STS.

I installed BajaRons magic magnetic mirrors and some safety tethers

I bought 12” 45# fishing leaders and the marine connectors as shown off AMZ. (I had to file the each of each mirror screw just a bit using a drill and some sandpaper to get the screws to fit in the mirror sides.)

Easy enough project and mirrors are a lot easier to get off now!

Today I also lined the top of my “glove box” with some heat reflective insulation to hopefully keep the sun’s radiant heat out of it. I’ll never be a professional vinyl wrap guy, but I don’t think I did too bad with all the multiple angles and such.

That's a pretty good idea. What did you use to secure it with? I have some reflectix and strong 2 sided tape that I might try for that.

Added another farkle to the bike this afternoon.

I installed LED's on the Rear Saddlebags. These are Run/Brake/Turn LED's.

They fit the F3T/F3L for model years 2015+.

It did not take too long to do the install. I am guessing maybe 2 hours.

When I get a chance, I'll post pictures of the above.

Here are the pictures of the LED's that I installed this past weekend on my bike.

Also, I checked and had to add air pressure to the tires.

.

Aligned the drive belt on a Battle Born Spyder buddies ryde. Poorly done tire replacement by a local dealer as sprocket was also not spinning true. Also repaired a sloppy job on the aftermarket muffler which was loose and floppy.
