There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. What did you do to your Spyder today?

Tuesday night I washed the bike.

What are you using to clean the matte finish? I ended up ordering a couple of different matte paint cleaners from Amazon. I’ve only tried one of them so far and while it definitely removed the little bit of dirt on the panels, it didn’t seem to do anything more. Maybe that’s by design. I may be used to using Plexus on my previous bikes’ plastic bodywork which gave them a nice shine in addition to cleaning up grime and bugs.

I am using this :https://www.chemicalguys.com/meticu...-e8ROP_F4Vtl5F9exM_RLtvpkf4dABORoCVuMQAvD_BwE

What matte cleaners did you order from Amazon?

Also i use from Chemical Guys a Jet Seal Matte Sealant and paint protectant. It is a protective sealant formulated to help preserve the original crisp satin sheen on matte surfaces without adding unwanted shine or gloss. You can get the above as a kit. It also comes with Matte detailer spray + sealant. Go to Chemical Guys.com and take a look.

Thanks. I’ll order a jug of that. I ordered these from Amazon:

Matte Paint Car Detail Spray - No Gloss Wipe Down Car Cleaner - 22 oz https://a.co/d/j7kA9j0
Flitz FM 11506 Flat Matte Finish Cleaner, 16 oz. Spray Bottle , Black https://a.co/d/2NSGTx0

I’ve only used the Flitz so far.

You can find the Chemical Guys Meticulous Matte Auto wash for Crisp Satin and Matte Finish and the Jet Seal Matte Sealant & Paint @ Walmart.

Also I use a micro fiber to wash my bike.

Installed the battery leeds from my noco genius battery charger on the battery, and ran the connector into the frunk.

I attempted to install the anti-theft bolt & nut on the BRP Backrest. Didn't work out for me. With the hard rear seat cowl installed, there's no way to do it I guess. To install the back rest the backrest support bar must 1st slipped through the rubber grommet on the cowl, then the bar is slipped into the bracket. With the stock pillion seat installed you can do it. I don't ride double, so I like the seat cowl, due to its convenient lockable storage.

Packed a lunch and road TN hwy 421 the "snake". Checked out all the bikes at the Shady Valley country store. Lots to see there, and it's a nice rest stop. If your into motorcycles it's a must do. I'm blessed in that the snake is in my backyard.

Installed new Vredestein front tires on my wife’s F3-S, and installed a RLS primary pipe w/ secondary baffle on my F3-S Daytona.

Mine’s a tad quieter w/ the secondary baffle installed than my wife’s w/o the secondary baffle. But I wear a full-faced helmet w/ earplugs , so I don’t notice any sound change at highway speeds. I do, however, notice that there’s a little less heat radiating up from below in my “bubble” behind the Route 129. (I got the black ceramic-coated; my wife has had the polished stainless for almost a year.). And the pipe’s a LOT lighter than the factory primary muffler. A little more growl when starting and idling ... another reason for folks to check out the cool 3-wheelers!!

I'm tempted. Thanks.

Oil and filter change and drivebelt off !

Thought I'd take the two hr drive to my CanAm dealer and get oil and filters for my Spyder RTS 2012.
Called a friend and he came with on his BMW GS 1250. Weather was great and after getting oil and filter and booking shop time for valve adjusting, we decided to go more inland on the way home.
We drove rather hard and fast on the twisting roads and I suddenly felt there was something wrong with the Spyder, so I stopped and did a walk around and crawl around and there it was!
Some teeth missing on the belt and nothing else to do than drive home carefully. And of course, the shop had closed for the day, so now I will have to call about a new belt tomorrow.

Safely home the Spyder was put on the lift, and I did the oil and filter change. I also took the belt off before I decided to go inside and find my comfy chair for the rest of the day.
I hope they have a new belt in stock, so I don't have to wait for a new one too long.

Nice to see someone else using the Big Blue lift. I just received mine last week and assembled it this weekend. Just waiting on my Elka shocks to arrive before putting it to use.

I have never regretted spending money for the Big Blue, it is great and makes things a lot easier for me and my knees. You will love yours as well I am sure

Bajaron swaybar installed last Thursday. Oh and who better to install then Bajaron shop. Lol. Yes that's my bike on the lift. It was only a 6hr ride, just a small detour on the way to Bairsville Ga.
Also had them put a Altimax rear tire.
Rode the weekend in the GA, NC and TN mountains.. Swaybar was an awesome addition.

I still want one, but the Big Blue Rep told me they do t have one yet that fits my 22 F3S :-( I bought the Harbor freight blue aluminum lift, but I really don't like it. I figured the undercarriage on a F3 are all the same, but I guess not.
