• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well my lovely wife bought me a ticket for the Richard Petty Driving Experience back in October of last year for our aniversary. Well today I got to finally go. So we left at 9:30 this morning to go to Loudon, NH for the 1 mile oval. Now this is the second time I have done this, both times being gifts from my wife:2thumbs:. The first time was at Charolette and I got to a top speed of 148mph.

No it was time for Loudon, 1 mile and two very tight turns. The people at Richard Petty are great. Explained to us that their goal is to run us upto 115mph with a time of 39+ seconds. Well lets say, my instructor wanted to play! Main rule of the class, KEEP A DISTANCE OF 3 CAR LENGTHS. Ok so I started to follow the rules for the first few laps while getting the feel of the car again, then started to push the envelope:opps:. SO let let us out for 8 laps then brought us in to explain to us on what to do better than go out for 10 more. Long story short, 118 mph top speed and 38.38 lap times. Gives you a whole new respect for these guys that do 500 miles. I was a full 5 seconds faster than the next guy running who just happened to be my friend Tony!:ohyea:. The staff came up to me later stating I went way faster then they were suppose to take me and was only 1 second off of the pace of their ride alongs. Guess they gave me a little extra lea way since I had done it once before.

If you have never done this, TRY IT. It is a blast. One requirement, you need to be able to fit through the 15.5 " opening they call a window!:roflblack: No functional doors here. I wish they did have at least one car with a door though. As soon as Taylor heard the cars running the track and the loud exhaust, she was laughing for the 2.5 hours we here there. That was as much fun watching her as driving the car. For those going to Chi-town, you will get to see that in person!

Thanks hon!!!
