There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Its 57 this morning with a high of 61 degrees. Can someone tell me how to deal with this frigid weather. What are some good cold weather tips.

:opps: I'm sorry its all my fault for the cold weather. I arrived in Cape Canaveral, FL and brought the cold weather with me from Illinois. I had a layover in Charlotte, NC and they got a winter storm. :dontknow: I just can't get away from the cold :gaah:

I wouldn't take a chance on getting frost bite! If you gotta ride, at least, I hope you have the heated grips on HIGH.

10 degrees here this morning. My suggestion in dealing with your weather would be "Suck it up, and enjoy the ride". :roflblack:

You are breaking my heart. It was 5 F on my thermometer at home, and -2 F by the time I hit the road to get my paper. I'm crying my eyes out for you....you just can't see it because the tears are frozen to my cheeks. :D

:agree: I seriously hope this poster was just pulling our leg. With the temps he is complaining about, I would be wearings shorts and flip flops !!!!!! :roflblack:

I'd be too busy riding, to be compalining about temperatures in that range...
But ifyou must; dress in layers, drink hot chocolate, and be aware of the signs of hypothermia:
uncontrolled shivering
a feeling of disorientation
Sleepiness

;):D:roflblack:

:roflblack: Yeah right... very cold.

Stay inside, turn-up the heat, don't get in the water, make sure your shelves are stocked with food, get spare batteries, get a radio, buy bottled-water, make sure you have all your meds, stock the bar, get out the extra-blankets, do not attempt to walk any distance, and look-out for elderly neighbors to make sure their heat is working so they don't freeze to death. Oh yeah, don't light any fires indoors to keep warm (carbon monoxide); and get a carbon-monoxide indicator to make sure your isn't heater broken.:roflblack:

Hope you can make it through your ordeal...

Bobby;
i think he's already disorientated... he's complaining about 57 degrees while the rest of us are in or around the single digits... :yikes: i'll be saddling up for a ryde to the Blue Ridge Parkway @ noon, and i don't think it will be much over 40 deg. :ohyea:

Don't forget to buy an AR-15 so you can protect yourself from those floridians that think it's the beginning of the end because it's only 60 degrees!!!!! :roflblack:

We think that is warm weather here...in the Real Northern Ca.

We went yesterday 80 miles south because it was 51 here. We have ridden at 48 and come home at 39 degrees. Long Johns, turtle neck, sweater, leather jacket, Gortex gloves, jeans, chaps, neck scarfy thing. Snug as a bug except with our moisture I have trouble with my glasses and faceshield fogging up...can solve the eye glass problem but what to do with the inside of the faceshield, I don't know. Same stuff doesn't work on both...tried diff things with limited success on the faceshield. Most other places do not have the humidity we have here - I guess!

You made our day. You made us laugh!

Thanks, a million. With books to do, taxes to ready, company for a week and grandkids sleepover, church today, and frosty out with full blue sky's and sunny to wake us. Maybe we can get another ride in before the weather turns rainy again. It is true, we'd rather be riding and getting our stamina built up before we leave for the 5200+ mile trip to MO Spyder Fest...our first bigger trip than the 200 miles we have ever ridden. But in all seriousness, you certainly have our sympathy for the sad weather. Ha! Ha! To be so lucky!
