No Luck, I still do not get instant email responses, I gotta keep checking the forum. You guys all passed and I failed again. Any ideas what to check? Lamonster says all my settings are correct. Att Uverse made one change to see if it would help. In the beginning I did receive instant emails. I know sometimes a Windows update or McAfee update will screw things up. Thanks anyway, Mike
Here is a copy of my chat with ATT Uverse, any ideas what else to check. Sometimes a McAfee or windows update can screw things up.

AT&T: Hello! Thanks for choosing AT&T Chat.

Everett: Hello, my name is Everett. How can we assist you today?

WILLIAM: I belong to a forum that I submit ?'s to and when I get an responce back I am supposed to get an email. I had the forum check into it since I stopped getting emails and they said my setting are correct so it must be my isp

Everett: I can understand what you mean; however, I would like to inform you that AT&T never restricts those services or features.

Everett: I would still unblock the SMTP settings from your account as that is the only port that is set to block by default and on customer's request we unblock it.

Everett: So, let me go ahead and unblock the SMTP Port for your account which would be the last and only block on the account.

WILLIAM: what else might this affect

WILLIAM: In the beginning I did get emails from the forum letting me know I got a response but they stopped

Everett: It could be that the postmaster details of the forum is not updated with AT&T Yahoo PostMaster Mail service, and if that is what the case is then the customer support team of the forum will have to get in touch with Yahoo and get their PostMaster details updated.

Everett: That is a B2B (Business to Business) process, so you as a customer will not be able to place that request.

Everett: If this would have been a fault or any restriction from AT&T's side, then it wouldn't have let you receive any e-mails which you received earlier.

WILLIAM: Did you unblock the smtp already, if so I will send a request to the forum and see if I get a response

Everett: Yes, I have done that from my end.

WILLIAM: Thanks, I will see if that helped

Everett: You are welcome.

Everett: Mr. Hall, I would also like to inform you that if this does not help then please ask them to update the post master details with Yahoo, I wish I could process the request for you but as it is B2B process I am unable to do the same from my side.

Everett: You have been so supportive over the chat!

Everett: Is there anything else I assist you with today?

WILLIAM: No thanks, I appreciate your help

Everett: It has been my pleasure chatting with you today.

Everett: I hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
