• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After searching this forum, I noticed several similar experiences re: the service (or lack of same) @ the PHX area Ride Now locations, and lucked upon someone recommending a shop in the SE Valley of central AZ.

I contacted Steves Used Cycles, in Mesa, AZ where the service rep, Will, listened to my story of brake warning lamp issues and the
story of my Ride Now mis-steps, and asked if he could call me back in a few, after talking it over with his tech's... In about 20 minutes, Will called me back indicating that they could make no promises, but his techs were pretty sure they could help, indicating they had seen the issue before.

So I trailered it down that afternoon, and the next afternoon, received a call indicating they had found a code indicating a problem with brake apply pressures which, they were confident was most likely air in the lines, and that a brake bleed should correct it. Will also indicated, that using the listed procedures was lengthy (about 3 hours) of multiple steps with the BUDDS diag. system connected, and a bit $$. He quoted about $425-$500, plus shop supplies, and the original diagnostic fee.

I agreed to giving it a shot, and indicated they were to test it for at least 3 rides of 2-4 miles each, with over-nights of non-use between each to confirm corrective actions worked.

With a weekend in the middle of their service efforts, Will called Monday afternoon, indicating ZERO fault codes had resurfaced, since the brake bleed, so I went to collect it.

Been home a few days now, and after approx. 50 total miles of multiple short rides, and a few overnights of non-action, it's FINALLY corrected.

I highly recommend Steve's Cycles and Off Road, in Mesa, AZ for your needs in servicing your ride... They not only diagnosed and corrected the issue the FIRST time, instead of throwing parts at it that it did not need... They did so at a very reasonable cost...
