• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No Luck, I still do not get instant email responses, I gotta keep checking the forum. You guys all passed and I failed again. Any ideas what to check? Lamonster says all my settings are correct. Att Uverse made one change to see if it would help. In the beginning I did receive instant emails. I know sometimes a Windows update or McAfee update will screw things up. Thanks anyway, Mike

Are you visiting too often and perhaps resetting the counter? From the FAQ on notifications...

"Instant Email Notification
- sends an email as soon as a new post is added to the thread. This is not sent for every reply and will only be sent once until you revisit the forums."
 
I visit the forum several times a day and I haven't received and instant email since maybe the 1st couple of weeks. Thanks, Mike
 
I need to proof read my speeling better when I post, It also took me a while to realize that I don't need to put a title in the box when replying since this creats another post entry. When you do reply the title box comes up empty so I used to put the title in again but no more, it makes it confusing with numerous posts with the same title.

Just ordered the Showchrome passenger armrests fort my wife and the stock seat is coming. Gettin there.

Email notifacation

I set mine to receive email and have never gotten a reminder since joining SL.

Are you positive that the notifications are being sent to a properly input email address? :dontknow:
 
We are on a forum for my wife's new Kia Soul and it looks very similar to this one and I get instant email responses from it. I used to get them but no more. So it has the correct email Thanks, Mike

I've never had the pleasure of using this feature. I'm in here too often... :opps:
But if you check your settings, to where you're having the email sent... :dontknow:
(I AM an expert at 'typing errors"... :D)
