I have rattled my hindle apart for the last time. So after some modifications to the yoshimura R77 and the mounting points we will see if it will hold together better than the hindle...the yosh uses the stock gasket but only has two slits for the clamp to crimp. Added more slits for a better seal. The foot peg extensions had a mount for the muffler but too close to the swing arm. So I knotched the extension to add an additional mounting point. But it's done and I still got out for a lengthly test ryde. Nice feature with the additional baffle...quiet or loud...:2thumbs:

In both baffled and wide open...I think the wife will like the baffled sound better and I can live with that...:shemademe_smilie:

Love my Yoshi. I've got about 20k on it and it's in great shape. I do need to repack it though.

Really nice sound. Doesn't drone, lower/deeper note than the original but not harsh like the 2 Bros., Hindle and others. But really sounds mean when you get on the throttle. For me it's the perfect muffler.

It's a tight fit so I had to grind down the foot peg extension so the tab would slip in between. As you can see the other mount is further back and rubber mounted and I think that may be why the hindle came undone... the spacer worked but the whole thing was wobbly...:thumbup:
