My dealer is closed until Tuesday, I'll make an appointment to get it checked out.
If I ride it at all, I will try to keep it full.
I haven't had it very long. It's one of the ones that REEK of gas fumes. Pretty frustrating to say the least.....the dealer says its normal. It's so bad I can't put it in the garage until it dissipates.
These bikes aren't cheap, and I feel it shouldn't smell of gas so bad all the time. I even smell it when I'm driving down the road!
:gaah:
Sorry for the rant.
My wife has a 2012 RT and the fumes are horrible after a ride in warm or hot weather. I too have to leave it in the driveway for an hour or two after a ride or the fumes fill the house. My dealer claims they have never heard of the issue (BS). Can-Am said they would get back to me and never did after couple go- rounds. Hope you have better luck.
Glad no one was injured in your case... that is frightening .
