I was out on a long ride Aug 23rd and stopped in Postville, IA at the Kwikstar. While standing next to my Spyder, a Red and Black 2024 RT LTD pulled up to a gas pump and the older gentleman rider got gas. His bike had the Name Bob on it, so after choking down my slice of pizza, I walked over to talk to Bob.
The 2024 was his 4th Spyder, his first was a 2012. Bob offered a lot of info, including that he was 74, and loved riding his Spyder.
We then walked over to look at my 2022 RT LTD; soon a Blue 2018 pulled up; and Bob wanted to talk with him also... so what started out as a 15 min break turned into a 40min chat with two guys, and Bob got a new riding partner, as Bob and the other guy live in the same town!
Sorry, I didn't catch the other guys name, but he bought the 2018 late last year from a guy who had put Airforce stickers on it.
So if you find yourself in Postville, IA at the Kwikstar, watch out for Bob... you might make a new friend!
