• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So How is your Spyder Service

My can-am dealer has had my can-am outlander for a month now,but hey they are getting ready to fix it next week.Just 3 hrs worth of work in a month!My spyder needs a few things but I dont want to be without for 2 months.At my other dealer a friend of mine has had her spyder in the shop from june of this year.And they still cant fix it..................................................CAN-AM YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!:congrats::2excited::thumbup:
 
My Can Am Dealer, CowTown USA, Cuba, MO, which sells Spyder's, ATV's, Sea-doo's, boats, and boat motors, is about 45 miles from us.

Great people, BRP certified tech's, and service department are the best, and they know what they are doing.

They have 29 pre-orders on the RT's. I confirmed this yesterday.

We are now in Florida and Motorsports of Tampa will be our dealer. I asked for a estimate on the 12k mile service. they told me $1200.00 and would need the spyder two days. To me that is unacceptable both in time and $.


Looks like you'll have come back to Wisconsin for the winter to get treated right.........................:clap:
 
I had an unsatisfactory experience with one dealer.

So, for the safety recall and ECM update I went to another dealer that was recommended by two forum members.

They were right-very customer oriented (did service while I waited) and did the job right the first time. Even though they are 1.5 hours away (versus 45 min) they will get all of my future work.

They are not the closest ones to home, but I would travel three times the distance for the quality of service these folks pour out.

Breaks my heart to hear horror stories from Spyder owners that don't have a dealer near home with strong support in the service department. I don't believe it takes much to sell these units. It does take dedication and patience to keep the service business going.

I called my Central Florida dealer today to be sure they know about my steering problem before my warranty ends. They were only aware of ONE update.....they put me on hold where I stayed until my phone battery died !!! Guess what "grade" I want to give them? Just to keep everyone happy and full of giggles, it would have to be a "Gold Star" as NO negativity is allowed here.
 
Since it is in the house, is it a pet of yours or did you just catch a picture of it after the break in?

Actually this is the office in Lamont's garage and those little critters just seem to flock to Lamont. Of course he does keep a large back of Meow Mix around and they seen to know that too...LOL

No negativity- perhaps, but *I* would like to know- you can PM me if you like, as I intend on compiling a list of the good the bad & the ugly ( well.. maybe just the good & the bad) so if I plan an extended roadtrip, not only will I know where service can be had (via Lamonsters dealership list) I can highlight which ones are known for good service and recommended by Spyderlovers.:chat:

I wish Lamonster would loan me his tech to adjust my new Robobrackets- his hands would be much better than my fat fingers. I think I put 2 scratches in my hood adjusting those things by dropping the wrench.:gaah:
