My Beast's first service..

Taking my Spyder in tomorrow for his break-in check and first service. It's supposed to be 76°, l keep checking the weather forecast, so far so good. I don't want to spend the high amount of money it's going to cost to have it done,but he's worth it.

I saw your post and realized my Spyder should be coming up on it's first service, and when I checked, it's 3 weeks past it's first year as mine!

I went out and checked, and I've ridden less than 700 miles. I'm meeting with a group for a ride on Saturday and will add another 100 or so miles.

So probably on Tuesday it'll be going in for the first oil and filter change, and all of the inspections, adjustments, and re-torquing of nuts and bolts. I'd go on Monday, but they're predicting thunderstorms and heavy showers.

l'm at the dealership now, my Spyder had 3810 miles on it, so it's a little over the 3000 miles where its supposed to be for this service, but they weren't rough miles. I was early getting here, they said good, we'll get right to it. It was a nice ride, l made sure I dressed warm, because it was around 50° when I left home. It's supposed to be 76° later this afternoon, my Spyder service took about 3.5 hours to get completed, it cost $471.31, most if it was labor, it was almost 80° when I started home about 3:30,now the freaking weather man is talking snow next week, typical Wisconsin weather. lol
