• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My right side rear cargo hinge broke off. I ordered the hinge upgrade but my hinge was broke off the insert. I ordered a new insert. Has anyone replace this?

I doubt if many have needed to this …… but if yours is Broken to the point of - No other Option ….. The insert just bolts into the cover …. Good luck ….. Mike :ohyea:

Thanks, it looks like I have to remove part of the back trunk maybe the seat and possibly the side panel, it has four screws onto of the piece not just the face.

Sadly it doesn't just "bolt" into the cover.
Didn't state what Spyder you have so this is for an RT...
See attached photo as to what your Spyder will look like when you finally get the insert removed!
A little tip, look at your new insert, on the back of the insert there are 2 small holes that have small screws that are quite hidden when on the Spyder.
If the damaged insert is on the muffler side you will need to drop the muffler as well...
Highly recommend installing the hinge upgrade kit while replacing the insert!
Good Luck!
