• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well after riding my RSS for seven months and 1400 miles later I've decided it wasn't for me. I traded it in on a 2014 Yamaha FZR Waverunner. I can't say anything really bad about Spyders. Only real grips I have is the nanny is way too sensitive and the wait to start. So if you look in the classifieds I'm selling my belt tensioner and back rest. Posting in a few minutes.

Both reasons you have are for your protection, also the 2 worst reasons I have ever heard about why a person gets rid of a Spyder. After riding 7 months, averaging 200 miles a month is hardly enough time and miles to evaluate the Spyder. But, Happy Trails to you. I hope your Yamaha does you well.

Sorry to hear you are going, but you are always welcome to come back.

One question - how does the Waverunner handle on the road :roflblack::joke:

Enjoy your new ride

The waverunner is a little sluggish on the pavement.;) I found myself riding the Spyder like I did my Yamaha R1, if it runs I see what I can get out of it. On the water I can cut up all I want without worrying about the man. I have a second waverunner,2013 FZS.

Sorry to see you letting a really nice bike go.. Here's to hoping the you find it a good home!
And you'll always be family!! :2thumbs:

Your reasons for getting rid of the Spyder are your own and completely valid.
Still, it's sad to see someone leave the community.
Do well in your further adventures.
