• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Reverse Curve Windshiels???

No argument here

No argument here.

The trubulence has EVERYTHING to do with the angles of both the windshield and the "flip up". THe one on my V-Max works fine but the rest of the shield angle is very low. I had to cut off the large lip on my Valkyrie sporty shield, which was much more vertical. Works fine with no flip but is a much lower sport shield.

Windshield

I'm using a Cee Baileys Reverse Contour windshield with a Euro Cut on my BMW K1200 LT. I love the fact that I can look over the windshield and wind and bugs are deflected over my head. There is a calm pocket air behind the windshield. Wondering why no makes one for the Spyder? Could it be that the windshield brackets may not take the extra pressure created by the Reverse Contour?

Reverse curve windshield

My vote is for the national cycle v-stream.
Well, they don't have one for us. Have tried
many other brands on different bikes over the
years. Had v-stream on GL1800, two FJR's.
Loved them, are you listening national cycle?

I've found ( in 50 years of riding) that a "reverse lip " dosent work to throw the air over the rider. Just causes trublence and helmet buffetting. I hate to look through a windshild, but I I do have a large Clearview shield for my Valkyire and is is still air behind it at any speed. ( The Goldwing vent really works).

Kaos

Speaking of the Goldwing vent... Does anyone know if you can install one on the RT windshield? If so, how difficult is it?

Freedom Shields for Harley works great.
Regrettably, they do not produce for CanAm.

Does any one make a windshield with a reverse curve on the top to push the air up and over the rider. Would also like it to have cut outs like the factory windshields. My bike is a 2012 RTS. My current windshield is 25in stock and its to tall as I can't see over it.
