has any used the add. coolant made by royal purple that is used in cooling system tenp in colo. getting hot 100+ new owner wonder if i should be conserend 1947 was my first scooter thanks jpat

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have used Royal Purple 10W40 Synthetic Automotive oil for a combined 68,000 miles on 2 Spyders ('08 SE5, 43K and '10 RT, 25K) I ride in summer temperatures of 100 to 114. I have never used the RP additive for the coolant and have never overheated. I figure the thermostat and the fan were installed for the configuration of the Spyder and are well enough if left alone. If the fan works, you have nothing to fear. If the fan stops, no coolant additive will help you.
