There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Replacing the Analog fuel guage?

I have unplugged the analog gauges and now would like to replace the fuel gauge with an Oil Pressure gauge.

Can anyone tell me how to hook up the oil pressure gauge with the existing wire connectors?

Already replaced the temp gauge with volt meter.

Try doing a search....I remember there were several threads on installing an oil pressure gauge....no help here...I replaced mine with a clock & a voltmeter....Good luck!

Don't know..!!

if you can use the exsisting sending unit on any aftermarket guages. You may have to install the manufacturer's sending unit along with the factory one. Tee off the factory one then signal wire up to guage power from exsisting wires. Using the exsisting sending unit wires may anger the nanny giving you oil lights and codes...:dontknow:

Here is the link to the Oil Pressure thread. Look at Roger's post number 44.

You can't just use the existing wire connector because it is for the temp reading sensor not the oil pressure. When you disconnect the analog temp gauge you will have no use for the existing wire that runs to it so just tape it off.

The oil pressure warning light currently on your Spyder is a separate line that runs from the sending unit on the right side of the engine. To install an oil pressure gauge you must first split the lines coming out of the engine with one running to the new gauge and one to the existing warning light. That requires a special tee that Roger identifies in his thread. I bought three of them because the walls are very thin on these tees and I didn't want to be stranded somewhere with an oil leak if the tee I installed broke. I always ride with two spares.
