• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any suggestions for creative use/mods/add-ons for the dashboard gauge plugs?

I've been thinking about installing USB power ports where the gauge plugs are on my base model RT since it did not come with oil/temp gauges.

Wondering what others have used this space for besides USB power ports.

I still need to figure out how to run power to that location, but thinking of somehow finding a clean path from the battery compartment to these ports to power something like USB ports.

Any ideas/suggestions on both points much appreciated.

I'm going to suggest that your RT might have connectors for the optional gauges in place, as I don't think it would make sense to have a separate wiring harness for those options. USB ports don't draw much current. It would be simpler to use those connectors rather than run separate wiring to the battery. The only downside is that if you do have a short or overload on the ports, it may take out a fuse that powers other stuff.

What year is your RT? I can check the wiring diagram.

Thanks for the kind offer. Believe it or not I had purchased the Service Manual that came with the wiring diagram, which I have no idea how to read! HAHA :-)

I have the 2014 Can-Am Spyder RT SE6.
