• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

regarding HID lighting

I placed mine along the backside of the speaker wells on my RT

Thanks. Both you and Steve have helped by answering my questions. Because of my uncertainty at the time......I decided to go with BRP's HID set up.

Hopefully this information will help the next person with questions similar to mine.

Thanks again
Jer

I have the Xenon Depot Extreme kit installed and I couldn't be happier. It comes with everything you need to do the installation. There is even a set of cotton gloves to handle the bulbs. I may have been the first Spyder owner to install their kit and they were very helpful during the install. I highly recommend their product. :2thumbs: I've never had any codes thrown. My lights are installed on a separate so I have full control over them. I have the ballasts installed on the main frame behind the steering and the relays mounted on the side of the frame just forward of the intake. I have the 4300K bulbs and they really light up the road! :ohyea:

Alex, I'll name that tune for a $1000.

"Where were you when I needed you"

Mr Orange: Thanks for taking the time to post some feedback =) How long have you had the Xtreme HID kit installed?

I think that SpyderGirl originally referred us to this forum back in March of 2011. Here is a pic of her Spyder with the Xtreme HID kit installed:
