• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Odd Windshield Idea

I was searching GOOGLE for motorcycle windshields to no avail then decided to try ATV windshields instead. I stumbled upon this VIP-AIR ATV fairing with windshield that oddly might just work on an F3. Ignore the mirrors on it as they are apparently optional anyway. It's a long shot but maybe it would work.

Interesting..!!

if you go for it I know we will all be interested in how it works out. My only fear would be it was designed for an atv with low running speeds. Will it hold up when your doing 75 mph down a freeway with crosswinds..?? :dontknow:

I don't think so . . . .

It's a long shot but maybe it would work.

. . . . even for a long shot, this is way out of my range.

I am hoping Spring and good riding weather arrives in Ohio ( and points North ) soon, I think Cabin Fever is at epidemic levels.

Once you get a chance to test out a F3, you will get a feel for what will work and what won't for you. I am actually really beginning to like the BR and am beginning to doubt that I will change it. Who knows how you will feel and what 3rd party vendors will come up with, that is designed especially for the F3.

I never used to be much of a windshield gal, but I wasn't sure if that was still going to be the case after having the RT windshield for 2+ years. I have to say that I'm still really enjoying only having the gauge spoiler, even at highway speeds. I still might change my mind this summer when bug season starts and I'd like to ride with the half-helmet and decide not to because of large juicy insects

49 & Sloppy

We're getting our thaw finally but the streets are wet and salty yet. Too messy but we are supposed to get some rain Friday & Saturday which will rinse away the salt. 49 degrees Farenheit is ride-able temperature-wise though.
