• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Although, I have been looming in the shadows reading for quite awhile. There is a plethora of information to research and read on this board. After digesting most of the board, I felt comfortable to pull yhe trigger and picked up my new '12 RSS Se5 tonight. If my muscle memory would quit reaching for the brake and clutch I might get used to this.....

:welcome::congrats:The fun has just started. You'll get used to the diff in no time and find yourself grinning from ear to ear everytime you think about the:spyder2:. THEN you go out and get on it and take off to go get milk( 1/2 mile away) and 2 hrs later get home. Amazing how hard it is to take a SHORT distance anywhere!!. :roflblack:

Welcome..!!

Congrats on your new ryde..you will conquer those little habits, feet down, front brake and in your case the clutch. I didn't give that up. If we helped with your decision we are pleased. Thats what we are here for. Let the fun begin...practice and enjoy...:ohyea::ohyea:

Welcome to the forum!

It should take you less than five minutes to forget front brakes, clutching and putting your feet down at red lights. I was a slow learner it took me six minutes or two lights.

Excellent! You're going to love it.

I remember putting my feet down as I backed out of the garage the first time, then almost hit one of our cars as I reached up for the non-existent handlebar brake. :banghead:
