• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

78 Degrees in south Georgia. Did the annual circle, 160 miles, around Okefenokee Swamp with a stop a a favorite Mom and Pop place in Fargo for lunch. Great day to be out and about

Nice Bob. 50 on Long Island, windy but I took a ride w my wife earlier. This is why I’m not winterizing my Spyder. We can have some nice days in January & February. I’m going to meet up w the Mass Chapter of US Spyder Ryders in the Spring, Ride w them for couple days. Beautiful roads by you, I love riding through Mass. have a great day!

90 Miles in CT Along the river to the ocean then back along the River- The Warm and Safe heated glove liners are Great- 30-40MPH winds do nothing to the F3. I doubt the Ryker would be as Good in the Cold temps and My (Now Sold RT) Was BEST in the winter- Period!

Unusually cold and dreary (45 degrees and damp, but not raining) down here in Texas -- I know, no one north of the Mason-Dixon line is sympathetic -- but headed out this afternoon for a nice run with little competition on the roads for once. Didn't see any other motorcycles on my route! Happy new year to all.

Bummer.....

Believe it or not it was only 58° today but sunny and beautiful but Istill have a messed up hand so no ryde...:banghead: to those that did :clap:

We got a 65 mile putt in. 82*. Found an awesome Korean, Vietnamese restaurant. Tom :spyder:

No ride today. Temps in the mid 30's and sunny in Carson City.
Hoping to get to ride on Thurs as the weather guesser says the temps are predicted to rise.

Cheers,

Jeez you lot know how to make a fella jealous!! :cus:

It's so hot here atm that it's silly to go outside during the day let alone ryde in it, & even if I was game enough to brave the heat, the bitumen is soggy & starting to melt enough to cause issues by about 1000 am most days!!

I did an early morning run the other day, headed out before the sun was up & tried to get home before the heat set in.... but coming home at about 0900, every little rise & turn that needed even just a smidge of throttle meant the rear tire chewed up the soggy bitumen & gouged a groove into the road! When the missus came home a few hours later, she said she could clearly see my tire tracks for the last 3 or so miles, and I'd spent all the intervening time trying to clean all the sticky & gooey mess off the Spyder! Big lumps congealed on every raised surface in the rear wheel well; there were strings of it dripping off the mud flap; chunks splattered all over the underside of the panniers AND up the sides & back of them & the trunk!! It's a good thing I've got a rear rack/spoiler on the trunk too, cos it had quite a build-up on the underside that would've otherwise probably ended up on the seat or me! Even the front fenders & lower spray diverters were splattered with the stuff!! And that was BEFORE the real heat set in!! The forecast is for the coming week to be even hotter!! :gaah:

I just KNEW I shoulda bought that air conditioned jacket before the price & demand went up!

So you lot should enjoy the cold while you can... it looks like we might hafta start ryding seasonally here - and keep off the road all summer!! :p :banghead:

Had a wonderful day here, with the temps up to the low 70's. After a trip to the gym, I decided to wash up both of my scoots. Then I took the Spyder out to a New Years Day cruise in. I was the only spyder, but still nearly stole the show. Lol! After coming back home and getting some "Honey do" chores done, I decided to really get my blood pumping and so I took the Vmax out for a nice little 18 mile stretch. Temps should be nice this weekend, so hopefully I will get some riding in. Vmax on Saturday (for a spirited ride), and F3T on Sunday for a more relaxed cruise.49435372_2184339554930565_7872396151276699648_o.jpg49521141_2184339564930564_3087408593297735680_o.jpg

Only about 25 miles yesterday. Saturday should provide good weather for longer ride
