• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New panel certificate..

Ok, still haven't got my certificate for the oil change panel, so I called BRP. Spoke to Jonathan. He said I didn't need the certificate and to just go get my oil changed and the dealer will replace with the new oil filter cover and panel.

Does this sound right? (No, Haven't called my dealer yet, but I will...)

I was told by my dealer that they needed me to bring the voucher so they could get compensated by BRP for the part and labor.

The install is free to us at a service appt, but they need the voucher to get the kickback from the vendor.

Service Manager in Winston-Salem told me yesterday the voucher was not needed and the panels would be installed at next oil change. I got mine done early on with a voucher but a buddy has not got his yet. Was asking on his behalf.

I did not need the certificate.I asked and my dealer changed the panel without a problem on the 600 mile service.

Got the voucher; used the voucher...
But it's a shame that inconsistencies in the process cause this type of confusion...

Purchased my 2nd RT Limited on 22 Aug, would have thought it would have the new panel, but it didn't. Had my 600 mile service last Saturday and was told I need the certificate. Purchased our first RT Limited on 27 Apr and still waiting for "Welcome package" and panel certificate.

Yes... That's the NEW STORY from BRP... we don't need a voucher.

They told me the same thing and said just go get an oil change and the dealer will install the new panel.

There are just a few problems with that advice.

The Dealer doesn't have any panels... and doesn't know how to request them!
My dealer just VAGUELY even knew about the new panels. Said he "heard something about them".

Here's some help...

The Part Number is 219-800-255 for the panel
and the Part Number for the Instructions is 705-006-822.

I coaxed these out of the BRP "support" rep.

Since most dealers don't have the panels in stock, you might call ahead and get the Dealer to Order the darn things BEFORE you waste a trip to coming in. You might have to give them your VIN number along with the part numbers.

Good luck. You'll probably need it. :(

I was told by my dealer that he needed the voucher to be compensated by BRP.

Got the oil change, gave them the voucher.
There are TWO new parts. The panel and a new left side grill.

Try and have the dealer give you the old grill. It can be useful (wink wink, nudge, nudge).

Threewheels: I asked the dealer in Winston-Salem for an old panel and was told they had to send them back to BRP.

Edited: should have said "grill" instead of "panel" above.

I got my 600 mile service done last week. The Filter Cover Kit was installed and I was asked for the voucher when I went to pick up my machine. I didn't have a voucher and it didn't seem to be an issue.

If the dealer needs the voucher for reimbursement, I'll gladly hand it over after I've received the "Welcome Package".

On this side of border dealer needs the voucher for reimbursement from BRP. My dealer also is waiting for replacement panels.
