• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New oil cans and filters

The only change that will effect you is if you have the automatic transmission (SE5). They went to a larger filter and a new cap. If you have the manual you only need to change the filter and reuse the cap. Once you have installed the one filter (manual tranny) or both filters (Auto tranny) you don't need to do it again for 4600 miles. The new filter/filters have a wire mesh on them.

Thats what I thought. I was waiting at the dealer with an oil change and was wondering if they were going to hit me for the cap. They didn't. I normally don't change oil until 5K with Amsoil 10-40 Synthetic. BajaRon is my oil and filter man.
