mySpyder app

I use a cool and very helpful app called mySpyder. I've noticed a change. I'm able to get general descritions of codes but now I can't get specific code descriptions from this app. Has something changed? Or do I need to click on something?

In android the app is called Spyder Codes. In an iphone the app is called mySpyder. Both apps written by Roger.

got it, thanx for the feedback & update. I thought there were more codes with longer explanation & new updates were coming. I found it very useful in accessing deciphering codes & keeping track of main & local dealers, very cool concept.

A shame that we lost Roger . . . he was a huge asset to this community. Every time I see a thread with his username, I get excited . . . then see someone has posted on an old thread. Same with Nancy's Toy . . . :banghead:

Just looked and it still available in Google Play. You will have to look again. "SpyderCodes". It is also available on Amazon App Store but it is goofy the way it is listed. It is listed as MySpyder but it is actually SpyderCodes. This is a good place for Blackberry phones that can run android apps.

He actually did three versions so Apple, Android and Windows phones are all covered. I've got the Android one on my tablet and the Windows one on my Phone - there's a few differences between them so I'm guessing the Apple ones different again though I've not seen it. I had offered to do the Windows one for him and he was going to send me a CSV of the data but he then created it himself.

What a shame that this app is not being updated if that's true. It is such a neat little app. I sure hope that someone will take over the updating for Roger if he does not want to do it anymore. An app like this is an asset to anyone with a Spyder. Kudos to Roger for developing it! :clap:

I cannot speak for Android but for Apple your seeing things.

It's real simple to see when an APP has been updated!
Go to the APP store, click on updates, at the top click on "Purchased".
This will list all APPs you have purchased and are installed.
Another way is simply go to the APP store and search for the APP name.

1) Click on iSpyder Codes Lite if you have that installed.
It will show the last date of release. It says Jan 10, 2014....
SO! There has been no update since then.

2) Search on MySpyder
Last update is March 14, 2015

So if your seeing something new recently.... your seeing things.
