• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Motobatt bateries vs. Yusa Batteries

China

I guess nobody knows where the MotoBatt Is made, If they are made In China just say so..

The MotoBatt is made in China. BUT, so is 3/4 of the parts on your spyder and Mexico as well. Just shipped to and assembled in Canada. If you want things only made in America, we would not be able to afford them.

BATTERY

Thanks everybody for the Info, I'm probably going to put a battery In my RT-S this summer, so I'll just stick with a Yuasa, I know they are a great battery, I used them over 40 yrs. In all my Gold Wings..

Battery

Ck'd online at local batteries plus and got a Delco for my particular model...paid and picked up at store....made in USA

Just make sure whatever battery you choose is an AGM sealed battery or LiPo or such, and not an old fashioned unsealed lead acid battery. :doorag:

Batteries Plus

Since 2013 I've been getting mine at Batteries Plus. Their brand held great. They have a Duracell that fits (have to order) with a two year warranty that I put in the wifes Spyder. Very happy with both. Sat for about 6-8 weeks in the garage during winter (no tender) and cranked quick and both fired right up.

yes, I apologize, I meant to say Duracell...........

They told me my battery is fine at 3 years of age

While my bike was in the shop, they checked the battery out and even charged it up and said it was fine. I told them it's on a maintainer all the time. Still was told the batter is good to go for a while longer so we did NOT replace it right now.

So hope I am good to go for a while!!!!
