There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This all reminds me of a joke... 
A family was walking along the beach. There were a couple of kids, the parents, and the Wife's Mom...
As the kids ran ahead and the Mom tried to catch them; the Husband kicked over something in the sand...
He and his Mother-in-Law bent down to dig it up. The found an old oil lamp. As they brushed the dirt off of it, a plume of smoke came out of it, and a Genie appeared... (Sounds familiar: don't it?)
As he sees the two of them standing there; eyes wide, and mouths agape: he says those words that everyone wants to hear:

The Mother-in-Law blurts out: "Whatever you give to him: I want TWICE as much!"
The guy thinks about it for a moment, leans in to the Genie, and quietly says...
