• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

More lights.

I did this with me VStrom... feel like there is a lot of dark areas in the back... So, between the fender ribs, ribs on the sides under the pass grips, and the four pairs of amber I added on the inner fender, its pretty easy to see this one from the back now.

I also took the red oval reflectors off the swingarm, and replaced with amber leds, that flash with the turn signals. A little extra eye action too...

I'm thinking of trying some el-sheet behind the passive reflectors to make them actively lit but not quite as bright as LED's would be. Just a thought....

I got all from ebay. The strips are 36 led amber (these actually display as orange but I dont really care) waterproof, self adhesive. The others are amber marker lights from ebay. I just looked around for a us seller that had the lowest per unit cost, and a buy it now. didn t want to do that bid thing.

I solder and heat shrink all my connections.

I am sure many here do that as well, but for those who dont, here is the method I use for a splice...
