• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I broke the mirror tabs while removing them and cant seem to locate the items for replacement. Anyone have a part number? Thanks

Order spares...Keep them in the frunk just in case, cheap insurance to save a cool ride or event.

:agree: They bust easy enough, that having some spares available is a GOOD idea!

:agree: I carry spares with me at all times, both upper & lower. Last season I hit a pothole with the rear tire and BOTH mirrors popped off. Sure enough, the upper El Cheapo plastic retainers were broken. Fortunately, I had the foresight to zip tie together the electrical connectors for the turn signals, so I didn't lose the mirrors. Found a safe place to pull off, installed two new retainers, and was back on the road in 15 minutes. Of course, I ordered replacements for the ones I used for the repair. A sorry retention system, and the parts are not cheap. I have them shipped to my dealer (about 20 miles away) to avoid the unbelievably high BRP shipping cost.

Me too!

Pretty much same thing happened to me. Yesterday I hit a deep chuck hole (seems Colorado Springs has 100s of them this year) at low speed.
Left side mirror popped off. I tried to put it back on and the upper plastic retainer disintegrated. So I went to my local dealer to get a new one.
Of course Murphy's law ensured they had the retainer for the right side but not the left.

So...I went home removed the right side mirror and used the retainer (reversed) to trace a template out on a body washer.
Drilled the holes and trimmed a 1/8" rubber washer to fit under my new metal retainer. It is not the prettiest but if fits and the mirror is tight.

I will eventually order a new OEM retainer...maybe.

Looked to me like the part# 219800156 & 158 are the same for both sides. Did you break something else? I just ordered a set just in case.
