• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for wiring options/suggestions

I want to add a USB outlet to my dash for GPS and phone. (Gas gage side) Can anyone recommend a good/easy spot to pull power from on a 2010 RT? I thought maybe the wires from the gage, or from the fuse panel in the frunk. Haven't decided whether or not I want it "live" all the time.

Thanks

If you remove BOTH the temp and the fuel gauge from the dash, you will get both readings digitally on your screen and then you can use the power from these gauges to power a Dual USB or Digital Voltmeter or both, don't use that power source for a cigarette lighter plug though because they draw too much power. If you need more info call me at 501 580-5595

I was hoping to leave both gages intact/working actually. Was planning to put a hole in the speaker screen or close to it, and bring in power from somewhere else. Hmmm, I'll have to check the diameter of the USB outlet I have coming....

I have a 14 rt and used the speaker screen for a cigarette plug wired to the battery. Am getting ready to put in another on the other side only will be a double USB port this time. They will be hot all the time but I just have to remember to unplug when done.
