:2thumbs: Way too cool! Nice job...How's the bottom of your feet? It's a little something I constructed from a canam parts, a glasspack tip, some stainless sink/drain/bathroom parts and stainless hardware. It sounds like:lecturef_smilie::shocked::yikes: to some and:yes::clap::thumbup:to others. While I'm riding that machine and exercising that little coffee can, I feel like:2thumbs:hyea:
:firstplace: and sit back after the ride is over in
mode. It sounds very unique and hasn't had a back fire problem, the spool down between gears...I love it. When I visit 8~10k, it converts to this gas welder hiss. I took it up SRC and people were waiting to see what was coming up the mountain.
I dont like loud pipes either... lol

This is why Calif (among others)just passed a law that all M/C must have a EPA marking and tested in a couple years for exhaust systems. This is going to knock out anybody except the very Big boys from making any exhaust. Or worse, only stock systems that cost a lot more.I would rather be heard and be around here for my family, friends and kids then be DEAD because the old man in a hat or the little old lady that cant see over the steering wheel could see me or HEAR ME!!!:gaah: For the few seconds that you hear my exhaust or my OBNOXIOUS STEREO on my bike, DEAL with it:chill:. I know my wife and kids don't mind!
By the way, this exhaust has been on my wifes SE5 for over a year now and sounds great! http://www.esicycleproducts.com/exhaust.html
What about Ambulances and Firetrucks they are a hundred times worse but a necessity. Their are degrees of loud, some intolerable but necessary and some loud but tolerable, everyone should use some tolerance unless extreme.Too many people with loud pipes have Zero consideration for others along their route (home owners). The riders with the loud pipes will be the first to be expecting someone else to pay for their hearing aids. Its not just bikes either, its hayseeds driving their diesel trucks with loud exhausts and the truckers with the jake brakes that are running through straight through exhausts.
I'll try for video, the mini-cam survived my little 2 wheeled accident...but the piezomicrophone didn't. Maybe radio shack has them, 2 little solder points on the chip. It cost me about $40.00~$50.00 to make. I did alot of experimening with different hardwareand even some exhaust packing to create baffle...it's all mechanical, not packing ended up being used. I'll do a little more detailed show and tell when I reassemble the mini-cam.
any chance for that video yet? When i first saw your creation i was jaw-dropped but i didn't know wheter i like it or hate it but ever since i just keep looking at your pictures and admire a uniquenes of that can, i love it. Very well done. I wanted a Tailgunner Jet but they are out of stock last 4 months at least, maybe even longer and my Hindle is heading to it's end. Tailgunner Rotary is cool and unique looking piece too but i like the Jet sporty design. Still have couple of months to make my mind. Your video would be helpfull. :2thumbs:
The best sounding Spyder I have heard so far was an RS with the dual pipe Two brothers Racing exhaust.... It was awesome, and an RT with a TBR is not even close since it has the Cat and that quiets it down and changes the tone...Hi Guys,
i am looking for noisy loudy pipe which will sound deep, throaty, blasty kinda like Harley sound. Have some one came across pipe like that? I checked many videos but they all sound more-less same on my comp.:shemademe_smilie:
