There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Forgive me fellow Missouri Spyderlovers for I have failed. I turn tailed an ran for home at 1830 at the 75 mile marker, to many night moving forest rats and 0330 comes awful early. I guess Gene the next time me, you,and the Captain get together I'll buy dinner as punishment. Anyway they were doing great making up for lost time, at 1830 were 75 miles from the OK. border. It was great meeting them just wish we had more time to share stories. I guess the Spyder express was a success anyway since Mo riders picked them up at the 275 miles marker and escorted them to the 75 mile marker, if my math is correct that is 200 miles of sharing wind with Mi. folks.

Thats alright Lee, believe me I understand my mornings are early as well.. Wow what a nice time today, I was very proud to sign the banner and also got a chance to put my hands on syderbear.. I wish you the best of luck in your travels to LA, Have fun guys... It was very nice to meet you and I look forward to our next gathering... When we left Fenton there was a total of 6 spyders on the road all in a column,, I picked up the rear and I have to tell you folks,, they looked really GOOD... Nice visiting with all of you today... Not bad !! around 100 degrees with a heat index of 105 to 110!! You gotta luv that humidity!! A short wait and in comes Xpeschon(Joe) and bmwgene(Gene)!!

Then Deb and Brian are there -- looking GREAT for being on the road almost 12 hours now! Gas up, rest, sign the banner and they're off!!
Good luck guys and Gods speed.

I only have a quick minute, didn't get in until 2330. Will explain later but my Iron butt is complete. I am running on 3 hours of sleep again and we are getting ready to head out. I will try to post a serious blog when we stop today. Thank you to all that we have met so far. What a great group of Spyder LOVERS. You all have to hear the story about the MO Spyder Express.

Here and Gone!

The caravan pulled into Albuquerque, NM around 4:00 today.
Everybody seemed to be OK, though Lamont still was not feeling 100% and still had some duct tape on his cheek from his demo of how to attach the microphone to Deb's new helmet.

They stayed for a few minutes and we signed the SpyderLovers.com Banner and then they were off. It was great meeting people from the Forums and getting to see the mods done up close and personal. Really nice people with sore butts.

Mostly cloudy here today with some storms. It looks like they are just missing them as they head for the NM / AZ border - and they won't have the sun in their eyes. Temps here have been in the mid-80s and finally the humidity is dropping below 20%.

It was nice riding with some other Sypders for a while, there are only 5 or 6 here in Albuquerque, so you don't see many around.

God's Speed and No Radar Traps!

Great keep the pics coming:2thumbs: glad to see they are ok,and still on the move. Did brian ever find his lisense plate?

To answer your question about the plate, nope, he's driving naked and praying we don't get pulled over.

Only have a few minutes again. We just finished another 19 hour day and now have back to back Iron butts to our credit. 6 hours sleep in the last 48 just isn't doing it for me though. I am tired and grumpy and not very nice, just ask guys. I have lot of pics to post. I am thinking tomorrow sitting in the air conditioning after only about a 6 hour ride will be just the time to relax and let you all know how it has been going.

Going to LA through Phoenix?

Hi Spyder caravan,
We live in Phoenix and are departing to LA early Thursday morning. If anyone (Lamonster?) needs a place to crash Wednesday night to recover, we have space, drop me a private note.

Okay, Here is one little story for you.

As you know, I purchased a shorty helmet just to wear for this trip. I have since learned some valuable lessons. Lesson number 1, rain hurts like a son of a gun at 70 miles per hour. I thought I was being attached by needles. Lesson #2, never yawn while riding at 70 miles an hour with a shorty helmet. This is directly related to lesson #3, you can not spit that well riding 70 miles per hour. Oh yeah, one other thing, not having anything to do with the helmet but it is a distant relative. If you are riding with long sleeve, wear gloves. I have the most ridiculous than line you have ever seen. I hope you all got a grin and a chuckle at my expense.

dltang, just a thought but how hard would it be to switch the trailer to Brian bike, it might hide his naked rear.
