• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

LA Trip Travel Blog

We only saw three unscheduled spyders along the way. We saw one going east bound on I-40 just outside of Albuquerque, NM after our banner meet up, and one on the Ortega Canyon ride with Greg, and then Brian and I saw one west bound outside of Des Moines Iowa yesterday. Other than that, the only spyders we saw were the ones in LA or the ones we planned to meet with during our trek. We are still a very special breed, that is for sure.
Isn't that always a thrill? We passed one headed the other way when we were riding home south on M-37 last Saturday. He got so excited when he saw Nancy that he almost ran off the road! Special breed for sure.

Welcome Home! Glad you made it back safe and glad you had alot of fun and thank you so much for posting all those videos and pictures for us! I hope we can get to a special event someday and meet up w/ you guys!

Got home about 1/2 hour ago, I played with my dog, ate some pizza and started the laundry. I have my bike unpacked and most of the trailer too.

Glad you all made it home OK. And in 1/2 hour you have done all that? We leave about 6-630 AM for Monroe, LA via I-49 and US-165 north, then I-20 east and whatever road goes to Laurel, MS hoping to sleep there tomorrow night. Plan on driving to Pensacola, FL Saturday for a banner signing and pictures, then start back north again on I-65 to clip a part of GA for another map on my travels US map. Looking forward to all the Michigan riders in August or late July.

Continue to ride safe Dudley and enjoy your trip. These kinds of trips are so full of friends and memories. I have to catch up on your blog too. I hope to meet you when you come through. I'll be watching the dates.

Welcome home Deb & Brian. It sounds like your trip was filled with memories that will last a lifetime.

Glad to hear you two are home safe. Any mechanical problems other than the lock and license and how did that turn out did he ever get pulled over? Anyway Spyderlovers across America will now sleep a little better knowing your home safe.

WTG Michigander-ers! Good to hear you made it safe and reletively sound.

Pat and I stayed in CA for two more nights before heading back. We are leisurely heading in the general direction of Seattle. Should be there this afternoon. The new seat we installed in LA helps massively, but we still get sore after an all day ride.

We found out two interesting facts while in OR. No sales tax and you cannot pump your own gasoline. Humph.

Ruby is snoring beside me here. Gotta get here motivating. 275 more miles.

Have a wonderful day, Deb, Brian and all you Spyderlovers!!:2thumbs:

Brad it was nice to meet you and to see Pat again. We just didn't have enough time to spend with everyone, that is for sure. You are almost home safely is sounds and I am glad to hear that as well. It is kind of sad to see no more MI as your home though. But I know you will enjoy Seattle as you already have been doing.
