• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Forest get to Purpalaland

Just to let everyone know that Forest made it on Friday over 1100 miles with a few hours to spare. After riding in a bunch of rain and losing one boot, pair of chaps, and leather vest when his hatch on the trailer came open. It was really dark and didn't know until someone pulled up beside him to let him know.

We spent most of the day Saturday doing repairs and oil change on his Spyder. His tag almost fell off and was warned just before it came off and then he scraped the end off his trailer wiring connector. A bumping noise turned out to be his stock muffler bracket getting loose and vibrating the attachment bolt. It could be taken loose by hand.

The oil change service he got just before leaving was not the best as oil was all under his bike and all we could determine was that it was coming from a very sloppy oil change. It must have run onto every panel and not cleaned. We did a good check on everything and did the filter and oil properly.

He is now ready to roll tomorrow. The pictures attached are of him working on his trailer and a few that show mine almost completely apart. It's now ready to roll also.

See you folks tomorrow night!

Thanks for the report. Hope that was the last of his troubles.

Love that shop. See you tomorrow. :doorag:

Ryde safe & I'll see you in the morning. I have something I need to give to you and Brian. ;)

Apparently his oil fill was way too much as most of the oil was coming from the air cleaner. I have never seen that much oil come out. We have glued pig mat inside the cleaner box at the lowest level to soak up any future oil. If time permited I would install a catch can for him.

Godspeed!

Pig Mat Mod

This is the pig mod we did to the air cleaner. This amount should absorb at least 1 pint of oil and keep it off the engine.

Less than 4 hours from take off

I should be in bed for a few zz's but I wanted to say thank you for all the well wishes and here are some of our last minute photos getting ready to go. Toothbrush in the morning and this computer are the last things to pack.

Here's Brian doing some last minute checking of air pressure and such.
