• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It is time to legalize.

Well it should never had been illegal in the first place. But some idiot in 1935 with an agenda changed all that.

I wish people would do research and think for themselves instead of listening to all the propaganda. I know, to much to ask for in todays world of non thinkers.

And now it's time for all the fools to come out of the woodwork and say stupid crap like, "what do you care unless you're a pothead" as they drink there beer.

The main reasons the government made it illegal are laughable, look it up sometime.

i used to dabble a lil with it but never went to hard drugs like some people think it will lead to. i stopped doing it when i started getting paranoid when i would smoke it. DISCLAIMER i still keep some around if i can't sleep, but i forget i have it

There are now three states that have jumped aboard. We were the third. I did not vote for it. Time will tell if the legalization is good or not. Revenue will be coming in big time--and I also believe that is what it's all about. The government, the sellers, and the growers, are going to be doing just fine.

That was usually typical when it was laced with rat poison. Of course, if you are on the edge to begin with, it's easy to slide over.

I'm for legalizing. Of course the same rules should apply to pot as drinking and driving. Oh, wait a minute; those with money and good attorneys will still get off. Oh well, take the good with the bad.

A side affect of pot is it speeds up your metabolism. That may be of benefit to some here. Of course, you'll have to control the munchies.

Sell it in drugstores pre packaged and professionally rolled like cigarettes and tax the ever loving HELL out of it! Like cigarettes and alcohol, have to be over 18 or 21 to purchase. That way, anyone who wants can legally purchase their weed. Then again, with almost every job asking for a drug test before giving you a job, good luck getting money to purchase the weed!!!:dontknow:

The continuing DUMBING OF AMERICA.

NOPE! College in the mid-seventies... I saw how it turns pretty smart people, into some pretty stupid morons...
nojoke

Bob I don't know what you saw but it has been my experience that is not the case. There are no studies that show cannabis having any ill effects to the fully developed human brain. In fact doctors are using MM to stimulate brain cells in alzheimer's and dementia patients. All of the old arguments from the past just don't hold any water. People can spit out all the misleading negative BS they want and I'll shoot it down.

When I was searching for a cure for my wife's cancer I did hours of research, cannabis was a part of that. I discovered a new found respect for the drug. I also learned the history of cannabis, quite amazing really. I am not here to say marijuana is harmless, nothing is. I mean, you can die from drinking to much water. But I can pretty much guarantee that using cannabis is less harmful to your health than eating bacon or a weekly meal at your local MickyD's. People are going to believe what they want to believe even when evidence says different.

I used weed when I was younger like a lot of people did. I never liked drinking and quite frankly thought most people that drank were loud and obnoxious and some borderline crazy. Never the case with weed. While other people were drunk and wrecking their cars, not the case with those of us that smoked. Drunken brawls, battered women and children from people using alcohol, not the case with marijuana. I wonder how many people would have lived much longer lives if way back when, alcohol would have remained the illegal drug (yes it is a drug) and cannabis the legal one. Fatal auto accidents from drug use would drop possibly 90 percent.nojoke And how many people die every year from alcohol overdose. The sad part of these is most are young college kids just getting their lives started. On the other hand, there is not one recorded overdose death in history from marijuana use.

I will end here saying, I am hoping by the time I retire it is legal. I would like to sit on my deck and indulge from time to time. And honestly, I should have the right to do that. This is America is it not, or do we now live in a suppressed state.

And for those that think medical marijuana is a joke, watch these please. And if you don't, shame on you.

Actually; there HAVE been studies done recently that point to a lowering of IQs through steady use of it...

Me: I'm dumb enough already! :D

I understand perfectly how it can alleviate some of the problems associated with cancer, and glaucoma../
But medical usage is a horse of a different color, an d not the scenario that you posed.
